What every plan shares
Your data, your machine
Whichever plan you land on, the app runs locally and the library stays yours.
A desktop app for Windows, installed on your own machine.
No per-part or per-board limits, ever. Your library can be ten parts or ten million.
Your data stays in a local database on your device: components, BOMs and supplier history stay local.

FAQ
Questions hardware teams actually ask
Is there a free trial? +
Yes — 30 days, the full application, every feature, no credit card. Download it for Windows and use everything. When the trial ends, subscribe to keep going.
What does it cost after the trial? +
Individual is $45/month. Early adopters lock in founding pricing at checkout, kept for the life of the subscription — so subscribing now is the cheapest Sideband will ever be. Team pricing is per-seat and launching soon. Nothing flips off overnight; reading and export never stop.
Where does the app run? +
On your own machine. Sideband is a desktop app for Windows that keeps its data in a local database on your device. There's no cloud tenant to sign up for and nothing to provision.
Is our data sent anywhere? +
No. Your component data, supplier history and BOMs stay in the local database on your machine. Sideband runs locally, so nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly wire up an external connector.
Which Altium Designer versions are supported? +
Any Altium version that supports DBLib / SVNDBLib connections, which is every modern release. Sideband presents a native DBLib endpoint, so Altium treats it like any other database library and streams changes via CDC.
Can we migrate our existing libraries? +
Yes. Bulk-import your legacy .SchLib and .PcbLib files to extract symbols, footprints and 3D bodies, then reconcile against your parts. Team and Enterprise plans include guided migration if you'd rather we drive.
